Hi, i've posted before it seems like no one knows how to help me. Surprise, my x is still not confugured, i've now edited the XF86Config file, but i get this error that is out put to the log file when trying to start x(this is better then the erroes i was gettin before editing the file):

(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

Does anyone know whats wrong!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Don't edit this file. The better way to configure Xserver is using Xconfigurator. It automatically edit you XF86Config file with the options asked. (if you use Red Hat or Red Hat based distributions)
Login as root and type Xconfigurator (note the caps X) in the shell.
This program asks the video card, kind of monitor, refresh rates and resolution with a autoprobe feature. This also switch to "init 5" your machine if you want lo load the graphical environment automatically when you power up your system.

I dont think you can use XConfigurator except for RedHat.

Go to the Mandrake Web Page to find the equivilant program that configures X (for SuSE it is SaX) and then follow it.
