Comment:

bit of a vague question, but here goes...
does anyone know what configuration files relate to the systems hardware, im trying to create the equivalent of multiple hardware configurations that are switchable.
so far i know of:
'hwconfig'(as a listing of all hardware and related properties/drivers)
'xf86config' (because of properties that rely on graphics card hardware)
note: processor remains the same in both setups so im not expected to need multiple kernel's.

any help would be greatly appreciated
