Hi all,

I have a running system without problem earlier.. I can telnet into the box without issue.

I installed SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.4p1.. and now.. when I tried to telnet into it, i got:

SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.4p1

no prompt no nothing after.. i hit enter.. it gives: Protocol mismatch. and connection closed.

I think I need to setup something to have the telnet working.. but what should i do? sorrie, i am not experience in Linux.

thanks

Softech

Why continue to use telnet when you have SSH installed? Just use an ssh client on port 22 instead of telnet on port 23.
