I am pretty sure Thats the same modem I have, no chance in hell of it working in Linux sorry, if you don't believe me email conexant and ask them.

your best bet is getting an external, serial port modem. Those rule.

I have the same modem, apparently there are drivers on the net at http://www.o2.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html except i tried these out on SUSE 7.0 and they did sweet FA, but if the driver does work for you, e-mail me and tell me HOW!!, thanks, DK.

I sent the owner of that site an Email saying the said modem works with the new 2.4 kernel, thought he'd test it before putting it on his site...lol.
Oh well.

Here is a url for a conexant driver that is suppose to work.. I will try it for myself and post my results.

help ... i get a mess saying modem not able to work because the hardware is disabled..i am at a total loss here. what do you do? sys is running 95, only a 60mgh cpu but good for what it is supposed to be for...

Dues just letting ya know. IF you have an Internal Rockwell modem.. (Conexant)....... Software 56k thingy....... you find all your drivers for various types.... for all systems running. Win95/98/ME/NT/2000 and now WinXP. At >> http://members.cnx.net/reboot/modems/
