I recently upgraded to Windows XP, which would`nt recognise my old modem so I went out and bought the Conexant HCF V90 56K .
The modem works fine with Millenium as it states, but the software does`nt include any drivers for compatability with XP.If anyone has any information where I could track down the required Driver, I would be extremly thankful.Thanks for your time.Jonny Goodboy.

Hey I my modem uses a generc driver in both XP and win2k it installs it on it's own and I don't have to do anything for it no settings no bulls--- you might want to try that

I have a v90 56k modem with a Conexant chip

I try everyting but when i try to conect it commes up an 630 error and the modem are not dialing.

What can i do???

The modem is set on the country USA.
I am in Romania.
No other country is appearing in the country select window.

how can i change the country from USA to Romania?

Hi, I've got Conexant HCF V90 56k Modem and just dowloaded the linux drivers you suggested above..... only thing is..... how do I get linux to install them and recognise my modem..... I've tried everything

I appologise for being a bit of a newbie where linux is concerned.

I'm runnin Mandrake 8.1 (if that makes a difference!)
