Relevant specs- Win 98 6 gig HD with a 1.5gig(approximately) System Save partition.
I was wondering if I could simply install linux on the System Save partition without screwing up anyhting. Any data I can't afford to lose I can store on my main system across my network. As for network cards, graphics setups, and all the other stuff involved with installing Linux I can handle on my own. I just need to know if its safe to trash the System Save partition to install linux, or if an automatic save thing would go nutso on me if I tried it. I've read the one manual I can find, I lost the one I think may answer my question.
