Two problems guys if anyone can help. Firstly I have installed redhat 6.2 and am using an s3 trio video card and have the problem that the cursor is showing up as a white block. I have seen other posts relating to this but I'm not sure how or where to add the sw_cursor entry into the xf86config file. Secondly I tried to upgrade the kernel to 2.2.18 just to see whether I could manage it. I unpacked the source files and copied to usr/src/linux but when I cd to the folder and type make config or make xconfig I get a message "command not found". Anyone know what's up?
