On unix systems, the "-t" option of "chmod", means that your program will run from memory/swap. But on Linux, it seems to be something else: itsaves text mode (file) or prevent of files by nonowners (directories). Could you please confirm if that is true that "chmod -t " differs from linux to other unix systems.
