Hi all,

Just wondering is there any command to check the version of a installed software.
I have installed wu-ftp, just wondering any command, maybe rpm or others, to show me this version info.

Thanks

To check the version of wu-ftpd, type 'telnet localhost 21' it should give you the version info.

Or:
program_name --version
If these don't work, try:
program_name --help
or:
man program_name
It should be explained somewhere in there.
