cdrom problem rpm install

CPU/Ram: 500intel/128sdram

my cd rom dosen't read any discs in linux but reads every thing before linux loads.
and in if i boot with winme... i think it has some thing to with kudzu config ...

where can i find an out put config file for kudzu ????

if i run the hdd setup of redhat9 will it keep on using the hdd isos to install the rmp part or will it go to cdrom mode like it does in the gui mode add/remove appl..

Kudzu is only really for detecting new
hardware.

Are you sure you are mounting the
CDs before trying to access them? The
command will be similar to:
# mount -t iso9660 /dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom
