CD RW Mouning problem - RHLinux7.3

OS: RedHat Linux 7.3
CPU/Ram: 550 MHz

I wrote a cd rw under win environment with adaptec driver. It easily mounts on windows98 but when trying with rhlinux, returns a message "no media found". But media is there. How can it be resolved?

How did you write it?

If you used ISO9660, all should be OK.

If you used UDF (packet writing) you may have a little more trouble as I don't think it's 100% supported in linux yet, you may have to wait until the next major kernel release.

Have a look at freshmeat and sourceforge for UDF and see what comes up.

also try www.linuxiso.org it gives a great explanation on burning .iso's with different burning s/w
