Hi, I have a CD-RW SONY CRX175E. Everytime when I insert a CD in the CD Drive the system freezes and has my caps lock light and scroll lock lite flashing on my keyboardy. I've used the same CD Drive when I've installed the OS and it worked. Can anyone help me and tell my what can I do to solve this problem?

Perhaps it's a problem with supermount? Try commenting out the entry to your CDROM in /etc/fstab, reboot and mount it manually.

Ovidiu,
Have you resolved your problem ?
I've just installed RH8 and am even though the installation/upgrade was relatively successful, I am now getting complete system freezes when mounting CD's in my CD-RO drive. I haven't tried the CD-RW drive yet.
