Hi ALL, A friend of mine installed Linux on a win98 computer. Its been 2 weeks of trying everything possible to remove Linux but it seems impossible. A Fdisk & rmov partitons, format & anything else but after a reboot the partitions & Lynux are back again.
Since then Win98 is the only think that can be installed.
WIN-XP cant be installed but is what my friend is trying to install.
Is it poissible to rmov all of Lynux from a HD that there will be completely (no traces of Lynux left)? I hope i asked my friends question in a way you can understand and be able to help my friend. Thank you.

You should reboot between removing and recreating paritions to be on the safe side. Delete all the partitions with fdisk, also overwrite the GNU/Linux bootloader with "fdisk /mbr", reboot with the XP CD in the drive, boot from that and create and format the new partitions from within the windoze setup.
