Hello i can't find the file inetd.conf file in my redhat linux7.2, i have installed samba and i am trying to configure the samba so please can anybody help me on this.
thanks.

inetd.conf is defunct. RedHat now uses the xinetd system. Instead of having everything in one file, there is now a directory (/etc/xinetd.d) that has individual files for each service. There is also a skeleton xinetd.conf file in /etc for you to add a service if one is not defined in xinetd.d
check "man xinetd" for more info
