I have windows 7 installed on my 160 GB*2 raid 0 disks. I have an external harddrive with capacity of 250 GB which is connected via eSATA. I tried to install Xubuntu 9,04 on it. Everything went fine during the installation. When Pc rebooted itself a "GRUB LOADER Error 21" appeared and i couldn't get it boot even if i disconnected my external. I had to format my Windows 7 and install it again. Now i have it installed and external drive formatted. Waiting for your suggestions..

21 means that grub can't find what it is told to boot. Might be some reasons for that. One is it was incorrect for some reason when installed. That doesn't happen as often as it did so I suspect the grub.conf file was correct unless you unplugged it in or on a reboot the number changed..

The second choice is that the grub you installed didn't fully support that hardware. Dunno why maybe a timing issue or bios oddity either on card or computer bios.
