Hi, the only way I know how to install Linux is to go in the bios, make cd bootable, the insert cd in there and reboot. But now I want to install linux on an older computer and the bios won't let me boot for the cd. What is the fastest way to install linux (other than upgrading the bios).

Most distributions provide boot floppy images on the CDs. You can use dd in Linux or rawrite (also often on the CDs) in Windows to make a boot disk from one of the image files.
