Hi,
my system consist of 1 HDD 80GB which is partitioned like this: first partition NT 4.0 4GB second W2K 5GB third Windows XP 5GB. Now I am trying to install Linux RH 7.3. I always get the message when creating partition for Linux that "device is busy" and "linux cannot access /tmp/hda" and "knows nothing about device where to install". When I click on Ignore button it goes through but at the end of installation it creates anaconda dump file. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
try a tool like partition magic or the one that comes with windows to create a partition (should also create a swap partition), then use disk druid to put linux filesystem on it

Make sure make a "swap" partition(twice the size of mbs of ram preferably) and a "/boot" partition(50mbs).
