Here is my setup I have a Win2000 computer(Computer1) and a RH Linux 7 computer (computer2). Computer1 has 2 NICs in it 1st NIC connects to internet 2nd NIC connects to Computer2. IPs respectfully 10.0.0.1 & 10.0.0.2 on subnet mask 255.255.255.0! Now Computer2 can dual boot into win2000 and connect to internet through Computer1, by means of a proxy server installed on Computer1(AnalogX Proxy), this works fine. My next mission is to boot Computer2 into RedHat and connect through Computer1 to the internet. However I have configured Computer2(Redhat box) set its IP and Subnet to the same as when booted into Win2000. And configured Netscape to use the proxy server. But it says the connection is refused or the server is not accepting connections. I think(I guess) its because its a Windows machine! So my big question is, is there a better proxy server I could use for Computer1 that would accept a Redhat connection or do I need to configure Computer2 differently?

Thanks for all your Help!

dan
