I'm having the same problem only with a Toshiba laptop. I have the install CD-ROM but when I try to boot from it, it won't detect the CD-ROM. Windows did fine until I deleted all my partitions. Now, I'm stuck with an empty hard drive. What do I do? I wanted to use my laptop as a Linux box to use as my own proxy server. Please help explain the problem.
