Comment:
I bought an old copy of Caldera 2.2 with a manual with the idea of installing it on an old computer. It is running very well on a 133 with 40MB but my knowledge of linux is very limited. Has anyone used this and upgraded it and added other programs? Will any of the latest linux software install on it?

If memory serves Caldera Linux is an RPM based distro you may find a suitable version of apt you can run on it and use Redhat repositories. This has a nice gui front end called Synaptic. Good luck.
