Cache Access Denied Error

Comment:
I have RH9 working on the Win2k Domain, when trying to access Internet through PROXY using Mozilla i was allways prompted for a Domain user name/password. Following which i was able to login and browse without promblems. Recently im no longer prompted for a login. I automatically get Cache Access Denied Error saying i need to authenticate. I allready removed all of the cookies and cleared the cache... Is there another way to authenticate to the squid/2.5.STABLE1 Proxy?

Did you only clear the cache on mozilla. It sounds like the cache on squid is full. Quick clear/fix that i normally use is
echo "" > /var/log/squid/cache.log

You can always pass the username and password in the URL, eg: http://username:password@server/index.html
It does pass it as plain text so you may want to just include the username and it should prompt you for the password, eg: http://username@server/index.html
