Hi,

I need some help setting up my USB Ambit NTL Cable modem on Linux Mandrake, I have had it working before using SuSE's LAN config. Now I am using Mandrake I cant seem to get it working, I need to use USB and start up at boot. The usb light is lit on my modem

On the back of your cablemodem there should be a little button or a very tiny hole like those found in the front part of a cd-rom drive to insert a paper clip and be able to get a disc out when stuck.

Insert an object similar that will fit in that little hole to push the "Reset Button" that will set your cable modem to factory settings, perhaps for 2 seconds.

Then proceed with regular installation.
