Comment:

I installed Mandrake 7.0 (complete ed.) with the development option for software developement. But it does not support g++ for C++ as Mandrake 6.0 did that I had before.

Do you know how to install or configure so that I can run or compile my C++, C and Perl programs for school.
Thanks

does it use cc instead of gcc maybe?

On Slackware (I have no experience with Mandrake, sorry), running gcc program.cpp will compile the c++ just as if you ran g++ program.
