Hi to all Linux fans and users I'm a windows user and I was thinking is it possible to make or is there a bootable CD that without installing any software in a PC I can watch a movie ".mov, avi, divx, or mpeg " something like a cd that has an os just to play a video file without using any harddrive or software in a pc.
Please let me know if there is or is it possible to do it, if is possible how can it be done? Oh remember i'm a windows user so help me as much as possible.

What I mean is I want to do a CD that has a bootable os with enought files to run a video
This is possible, but difficult. Linux could be configured to boot from a CD and copy everything it needs to RAM, but you would have to know Linux very well to do this (unless there's some step-by-step tutorial out there).
