Hi to all Linux fans and users
I'm a windows user and I was thinking is it
possible to make or is there a bootable CD
that without installing any software in a PC
I can watch a movie ".mov, avi, divx, or mpeg " something like a cd that has an os just to play a video file without using any harddrive or software in a pc.

Please let me know if there is or is it possible to do it, if is possible how can it be done?
Oh remember i'm a windows user so help me as much as possible.

Thanks

Let me ask you the same question then. Can
you do that without installing Windows on
your PC??? Of course, you can't because
you HAVE to have an operating system to run
a program or software! As far as I know,
there is no such thing that would allow you
to just run a program to watch a movie on
a PC unless you put the disc in your DVD
player, connecting to your TV...

This is possible, but difficult. Linux could be configured to boot from a CD and copy everything it needs to RAM, but you would have to know Linux very well to do this (unless there's some step-by-step tutorial out there).
