via_audio: ignoring drain playback error -11
via_audio: ignoring drain playback error -11what do these mean?

are you talking about the audio ones or the disk ones?
the first is that the function ldm_validate_partition_table() cannot read the disk table for some reason, and the second is the problem with the audio module you are using. Both are related to the linux kernel. Either your disk is bad or there is a bug in the kernel. What kernel are you using by the way? And what sound modules are you using? Alsa or OSS? And what soundcard do you have?

i'm talking about both
i'm using the default kernel from mandrake
9.1 (2.4.21-0)
i dont know whick sound module i'm using
it came with Mandrake
my soundcard is a Via 8233 AC 97
