after booting with the mentioned bootdisk. it requires me to insert the driver disk. I have no idea what is this and i try to find the driver disk from the support site but no driver for Linux and only for the DOS environment.

Hi there, Try going to the homepage of your CD-Rom drive and the home page of the PCMCIA card manufature. Most times they have Linux drivers for them. If not do a search on one of the Linux driver and hardware sites. Good louk. Alexander.
