I have bought a motherboard Intel 850 mv. with RAM-BUS memory. I'm trying to boot from my CD of Linux Mandrake 8.0 and appers a message of error "There isn't enough memory to boot, it is below 640 (DOS MEMORY) I don't what does it mean. I have 256 Mg of ram bus memory. I'd appreciate any comment on that.

now the question that i have is that 256 split between two slots. because as i know it, rambus works in pairs. so two slots need ram to beable to work. so go get another thing of ram that you can return and plug it in, and it should work, if not then you can return the ram but im sure that is your problem if you don't have a pair.
