Binary file execution error

i get error executing binary files in red hat linux i used the ./ to execute the file but it says bash:cannot execute binary file.

the o/p of the file command is as follows if thats of any help

msc2txt: ELF 32-bit MSB executable, SPARC, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked
(uses shared libs), stripped

and the error i get is

bash: ./msc2txt: cannot execute binary file

os- linux 9 kernel-2.4.20-8

Are you trying to execute a binary from Sparc on your PC running Linux??? I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do here...

Also to add to what taurus is saying, are you using hp-ux or RedHat?
