What is the best video card for mandrake 7.2? For this you may need my other hardware info: NEC MultiSync XV17+ (17") monitor. Tyan S1598 mobo, AMD K6-2/500mhx cpu, 256mb ram, and currently Trident 3DImage9750 PCI video (new and don't work in all modes. 800x600x16 bit max). Also have Trident Blade 3D AGP and sound blaster PCI128.
Next question is part of first: will AGP card work in mandrake 7.2? IF so, which one is best and NOT the real expensive ones, PLEASE?

You know vedio cards go in price. From bout 7 bucks up to 700+ Depends on your needs. A lot of the newer cards are agp. Any way I got a Ati 128 rage fury 32 mb with tv out, open gl support. its an agp card. I dual boot it between win98 and mandrake 7.2,It has also worked on rh 6.2 and 7.0 but it seems to get better rez with mandrake 7.2 :)
I am not saying that is the best card only that I know four a fact it will work.
