Hey can some people give me their opinions on the best linux distro for sparc workstations? Specifically a Sun Ultra 5? I know redhat stopped the sparc thing way back in 6.0, but there has to be something out there that's good. Any opinions are welcome.

For a desktop, Gentoo. For a server, Debian.

Yes, but I prefer Gentoo for desktops. I've only used x86, though, so I can't be sure Gentoo would be as good on a sparc.
