Hello.
Have a Brother DCP 110C that I am having a lot of problems with. Looking to buy another All in One Printer to use with Ubuntu, one that will work without much setting up (if any!). Would like a Brother one or if not a HP one.
Thanks.
Paul

I use Mandriva Linux here, and the HP line of Printers is well supported (including the "All-in-one" printers) in Linux.

My best suggestion is to go to the Linux Foundation's Open Printing Hardware Compatibility Database Page to check their Printer and Driver Listing Databases. Using the Printer Listing Database, you can check the level of support available for a printer by searching for the Manufacturer and Model, or you can get a listing of all printer models for a specific manufacturer. If you want to, you can even get a list of all printers from all manufacturers (a very long list).

Since Ubuntu uses Open Source Software, any printer listed in the above database should get the reported level of support under Ubuntu.
