~/.bash_profile location on Suse 10

Is the .bash_profile file located somewhere else on Suse 10, other than the user's home directory? I see my .bash_history file in my home directory, but no .bash_profile.

fyi, the root user also doesn't have a .bash_profile in it's home directory either.

In SUSE linux, there is a .profile file for every user, in user's home directory, except root user.

.bash_profile works with Red Hat Linux
