I have a question. I am looking for some backup software for a linux box that will backup linux and windows systems from the linux box. We don't have a very big budget for this but we would like to see what our options are. Can anyone point out some good network backup software that I can test. We have DAT Tapes and a Iomega Rev Drive that we would like to test it on. Thanks in Advance.

I use a combination of nfs, rsync and ssh backing up to local and remote servers. Other solutions are tar, dump and cpio. A search on www.tldp.org for "backup" yields loads of results....
