Hello!

I've to realize an automatic login for an embedded linux system, so I want to get rid of this login prompt. What have I got to do to spawn the bash instead of the login prompt?

Thanx in advance and if possible answer via e-mail, too! thanx

Greetz... Hendrik

Two ways to accomplish this...

1. Put su - USERNAME as the very last line in your /etc/rc.local

2. Learn more about getty and put any parameters you want after the getty commands in /etc/inittab
