The RedHat hardware compatibility list says that as of Ver. 7 the ATI Radeon Mobility graphics video card is supported, but when I installed ver.7.1 ...even thought the card was in the list of available drivers the screen would go out and fail completely. Has one been able to get this driver to work in linux?

Nevermind...I downloaded RH 7.3 and chose the generic video driver and LCD laptop monitor and it worked perfectly. The ATI mobility M6 driver didn't work at all.
Summary: The ATI mobility radeon gives a distorted screen grahic upon xserver boot. Has anyone got this working or does anyone have a work-around? Txs in advance ...
