I have an apple cinema display connect to a PC using an ADC/DVI adaptor. Installed windows XP and work great. Now it is time to add an second OS and I chose Linux Redhat. Somehow it could not detect my Monitor.
Video card: GForce FX 5600 x 256MB
Monitor: Apple Cinema display 23"

Any alternative way?
Thank in advance.

Have you tried the drivers available from www.nvidia.com? It allows for:
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "DFP"
and
Option "IgnoreDisplayDevices" "CRT, TV"
