Hey all,
Having a bit of trouble. My web server is serving all of my sites except for one. This is a bit odd...all of the troubleshooting I've done (which, with my experience, is minimal).
Here is what I know...
1.) Apache is serving pages
2.) httpd.conf is properly configured
3.) The domain is registered and up to date (name servers properly defined)
4.) Name server is working for other domain names on the same web server
5.) tracert was unable to resolve the target system name
6.) There were no changes done on the web server and the site worked a few hours beforehand meaning it is probably outside of the web server realm (i.e. change to name server oppose to change to web server)So, if I can't connect, obviously there are no logs to look at. Points four and five sound like the issue. Why wouldn't tracert work if the domain name is properly defined?
My question is...what additional troubleshooting would you reccommend? I don't have control over the name server...not sure what additional disagnostics I can run? Any ideas?
Many, many thanks and happy holidays
