Hi
I've just done a redhat7 custom install and installed everything to do with apache I could find.

httpd won't start - says it can't find the local host and that I should set it with the
ServerName directive. So I've:

run linuxconf and set the hostname to red_srv1

also in linuxconf set the name server search order to only search the Hosts file.

Entered the following hosts file:
169.254.0.5 red_srv1
127.0.0.1 localhost

In the httpd.conf file I've entered the following line:

ServerName red_srv1

Still no work. Any clues. One of my books said I might have to set a route. A route to itself ? Any clues
