apache not working!

I think I screwed this one: I used to have the default apache page pop up when i went to my site, but then I decided to change the directory in the httpd.conf file. It is no longer in /etc/var/whatever-it-used-to-be but I set my directory to look something like this: "/data/wwwroot/mysite.com/default.htm" and I get nuthin. There is also another entry where I updated the directory path. I also thought that maybe I was having a permissions problem so I did a "chown apache:apache mysite.com" on the directory. And I have restarted apache several times (though not rebooted). Any help on what else I need to do to get this site up?

never mind. I didn't have "default.htm" specified in my Directory Index and it wasn't there by default. Also some of my links (from when I hosted the site on an IIS server) didn't work because the links weren't consistent with upper and lower-case.
