Apache Failed to start

OS: mandrake 9.0
CPU/Ram: pentium ?

I changed server configuration (name and ip)now i get this error when trying to start Apache Web Server:

Failed to start apache :
Starting httpd-perl: [ OK ]
Starting httpd: [FAILED]
[FAILED]
[FAILED]

I looked in the error_log and i get the following error three times:

[Thu Jul 15 14:30:16 2004] [alert] (2)No such file or directory: getpwuid: couldn't determine user name from uid 4294967295, you probably need to modify the User directive

what did i do wrong?
ps. new to linux...

What did you use to edit the httpd.conf? If you used a standard text editor then that would be the problem. If you can telnet to the directory pico the .conf make a change of some type and save it. That should repair the problem. If not get a copy of the default .conf and start over.

I used the "edit config files" for Apache Webserver under servers in Webmin 1.150.
Anyways, i tried telneting but i could not connect. I can't find another copy of httpd.conf
