hi, thanks for help on my last question. but now i have one more problem. I did the partition using fips somehow. so i got labels as c:my regular hd where i will have dos/windows d: new partition.[this was previously zip drive] e:zip drive [this was previously cd-rom] f: cd-rom when i insert the bootable disk it works well and asks me to install cd in cd drive.after inserting cd, it says "intializing cdrom..."then it type welcome to redhat linux. and just hangs. both cd drive and computer. Can any body tell why this is happening? is it not detecting cd-rom properely? Also when i start computer in ms-dos mode , and type c:>"f:" it gives me invalid drive. but when i go to ms-dos prompt from windows it gives contents of f: drive on giving same instruction. Is it not recognizing f: on ms-doa mode? what i should do next? thanks..
