Hi,
I have a Linux machine (Redhat 7.1, Kernel 2.4.2) with two RL2000 network cards, one is connected to my ISP's network and one to my Lan (IP=192.168.1.5). The problem is that, immediately after the machine starts up, I am able to ping to the linux machine from other local machine, but after a gap of 10-15 minuts if I have tried to ping to the machine's 'Local IP', it will fail. But at the same time I am able to ping to the machine's external IP address. I am able to ping to the other local machines from the Linux machine!!! Additionally I have removed the LokKit from the machine and upgraded the Kernel to 2.4.18 (latest). But that too failed. Could someone please advice me what could be wrong with the machine?
