dude, sorry to say, no driver for als4000 exists for linux... i found this out about a month ago and am very pissed... i use suse and redhat and noticed that they do detect the card and even identify it as the correct one but both do not have a driver as of yet and after talking with a fellow who works closely with ppl who write linux drivers say that there is not a driver on the boards for the future :-(
