Again with this subject. Downloaded a script and was told here in other post how to install. Well, i have tried running it from the x-terminal as root in KDE and its telling me "permission denied". Why......Why...Why....

type sh script_name and it should run. You shouldn't need to be root. Email me if you need more help.

How do I turn off GRUB so only LILO loads Linux?
Also, I need a "sndconfig" utility program. My version of Linux doesn't have it. Linux won't recognize my sound card even though the drivers are present.
