Sorry about the name Yet Another Linux Newbie..my poor humour. anyways, hope you guys can help me out here. I have a few questions.. I cant seem to play your normal everyday joe CD's on LINUX ?? It does mount other non Music CD's (I noticed Linux sees the Plexter CD writer as two mountable devices a writer and a Cd rom ?? ) And also I dont seem to have any joy setting up Wine to run Cstrike etc.. Cant see & seems to configure Joystics Steering wheel etc.. all USB.. The Sys does see the Root USB Hubs ??? Sys Spec. Linux SUSE 8.0 Prof Athlon 900 Aopen Mother Board Leadtek GF3 Ti200 (with Nvidia drvrs) Radius Intelicolor 20e Monitor (old 21" mac monitor runnig at 1600x1200 x 16mil colors) Plextor CD Writer 24x write Lite On DVD drive Supra 56e Pro Modem Thrustmaster Fi racing wheel MS Sidewinder Pro Joystics MS commander Sorry I have so many Questions.. Its my first Linux venture and I like it.. would love to learn how to get my sys and bits and bobs all working A1 TIA Stevie

Audio CD's in Linux aren't mounted like data cds. All you have to do is open the player and point it to the cd or dvd device you want it to play from and your there. As for the Plextor device, I've never used SUSE, but I would imagin that it shows up this way to make it easier to identify. Both links should go to the same device.
