I know how to set SAMBA up to allow my W2k machines to mount Linux filesystems, but how do allow my Linux users to access a single directory on a W2k file server? Need help quick. Thanks

When I try to connect using ANY of the methods listed in previous postings, I get this message:
"session request to failed"
then I get prompted for a Password, then, no matter what I enter, I get this message
"session setup failed: ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (access Denied) SMB connection failed"

I donnot know the solution, but a hint: Using the Administratoracount the results are better...

smbclient -L //yourserver -UAdministrator

password: ...blah...

So we have to check the user settings on the w2k-server!!!!
