i have redhat linux 7.2 and windows NT on a server.i want to access windows NT files/directories from linux(currently linux is running).is it possible? how?

possible if your nt server has fat file system. Redhat does not recognize NTFS file system.

It is possible. But Redhat citing some BS about NTFS access still beta not including it into the final build of 7.2. You can manually add it the kernel and recompile. There are tons of resources about that will give you step by steps. Read them. I am still a newbie and I have destoyed my linux install more than once over the past few weeks.

If you are still having trouble reconfiguring you kernel and samba to mount ntfs let me know and I will walk you through it.
