CPU/Ram: pentium4/128mb

i have accidently formatted my Linux partition frm Windows xp and now when i start my pc i get a grub> commend line interface and i m not able to access my windows now!! how can i access my windows from this when i have deleted linux drive..

Get a copy of DOS startup boot disk (win 98 or ME is also ok). And in command prompt type: 'fdisk /mbr' without quote and you are saved :))

PS: If you have original Win XP installation disk than just boot up with it and choose to command prompt.

2 other solutions:

1)
If your windows is in the first partition, you can type this from grub:
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
boot

2)
Reinstall Linux to reinstall grub
