Please read this. I asked so many people before...but seems no one really how to do it.
I want to install a small ucd-snmp on my linux system.
after i install it (version 4.2.6), i got 2 daemons (snmpd, snmptrapd) and 3 libraries(*.so files) ...total size is around 600k.
I only install MIBII. What can i do to make it smaller?

the following is the configurations:
/configure \
--disable-privacy \
--enable-shared \
--with-cflags="$RPM_OPT_FLAGS" \
--with-sys-location="Unknown" \
--with-logfile="/var/log/snmpd.log" \
--with-persistent-directory/var/ucd-snmp" \
--with-sys-contact="root@localhost" \
--disable-debugging \
--with-transports=UDP \
--without-kmem-usage \
--enable-optimize \
--prefix=/home/installwed/usr \
--exec_prefix=/installwed/usr \
--enable-fast-install \
--with-mib-modules=mibII
