yup. xmms is better though. you can even give it winamp 2.x skins!

I don't like xmms, It only has winamp 2x like skins (squarish), mosy other players now support "full" skins (any shape).

I really like MPlayer, it has some really cool skins... I'm running the MacOSX skin...

Serious dude, you don't have to ask every single question that you have without trying it out first to see whether it works or not!!! It's like saying, "I know a knife can cut meat but can it cut a piece of paper?" Well, if you have tried it, you would find out that it does indeed...
